Third-party costs and App Store approval
Updated 5 September 2026 · ~6 min read
Why cloud, CDN, SMS and Apple/Google fees are paid to vendors — and why app listing is never guaranteed by LMS White.
What this means for you
Cloud, CDN, domains, SMS, email, payment gateways and Apple/Google developer memberships are paid by you to those vendors at actual cost. LMS White does not “absorb” Apple’s or Google Cloud’s invoices into the licence fee.
Apple and Google independently approve, reject or suspend apps. A store listing is not guaranteed by any white-label vendor — including us. Template / white-label rules can also change and may require architecture or publishing updates.
Why vendors bill you (and why stores can say no)
Infrastructure and store memberships are metered services owned by Google, Apple, SMS providers and similar companies. They bill the account holder. App review is a marketplace decision: Apple and Google protect their stores under their own guidelines. LMS White can prepare builds and guide submissions; we cannot override a store rejection.
Examples
- Your Firebase/Google Cloud project usage rises with students — the cloud invoice follows usage, not our licence price.
- Apple rejects a build for guideline reasons — only Apple can clear that; we help remediate, we do not “approve” the app.
- A policy change against lookalike template apps may force publishing-model changes (see Pro shared iOS guide).
What LMS White controls: packaging the product, guiding setup, and helping with submission readiness.
What LMS White does not control: Google Cloud pricing, Apple Developer billing, SMS rates, or final App Store / Play Store decisions.
