Upgrading from Pro to Enterprise

Updated 5 September 2026 · ~6 min read

How Pro→Enterprise moves prefer official Apple/Google app transfer, why transfer is not guaranteed, and when the shared publishing fee stops.

What this means for you

Yes — where eligible, you can move from Pro toward Enterprise. We prefer official Apple/Google app transfer rather than deleting listings and starting from zero. Transfer depends on marketplace rules and is not guaranteed.

After a successful move to client-owned accounts, the Pro shared publishing fee stops from the next applicable renewal.

Why transfer is preferred (and why it can fail)

Deleting an App Store or Play listing destroys reviews, rankings and install continuity. Official transfer keeps the listing identity when Apple/Google allow it. Both stores set eligibility (account standing, agreements, regional rules, binary ownership). LMS White can prepare and request transfer; only the stores complete it.

Examples

  • Pro customer enrols Apple Developer, we initiate transfer of the learner app where eligible → listing continues under your team.
  • Store denies transfer due to account or policy reasons → we discuss alternative publishing paths; we cannot force Apple/Google to approve.

What LMS White controls: commercial eligibility, technical prep, and preferring transfer over destructive republish.

What LMS White does not control: final transfer approval by Apple or Google.
